STORY///
Founded in 2008 Nicholas reconnected with his childhood hobby of making picture frames and coffee tables from salvaged barn/drift wood. Early that spring he started showing his wares in various beach community art shows. The positive response spurred the development of the Summer 2010 collection consisting of his traditional driftwood products as well as several new items.
In May 2010 with six years of institutional global banking, Sean graduated from Rutgers Business School and joined NAUTI. The two took the Summer 2010 collection on the road from Hoboken, NJ through Long Island, up to Bar Harbor and down the North East coast hitting various beach communities over the course of 3 weeks. By the end of the summer NAUTI could be found at fine stores from coast to coast.
DESIGNER///
Nicholas graduated from Syracuse University in 2006. He worked his way up as an Art Director for various NYC advertising hot shops working on well-known client projects ranging from Airlines to 3D home entertainment brands. After a few years he left the creative-corporate world to pursue his own creative & entrepreneurial interests and founded NAUTI & CO.
